One Kind Soul

Tears running down my face

Head hurting with anguish

Searching for peace

As I extinguish

So much sadness

In feeling ill equipped

Needing much tenderness

In feeling whipped

Ceasing all crying

For a happier time

To experience skydiving

Would be sublime

Starting over yet again

Is not easily done

For an astonishing gain

Before opportunity is gone

Leaning on a friend's shoulder

For he is strong

And can move a boulder

To help me belong

It just takes one kind soul

To acknowledge one's presence

Reaching out establishing a goal

Becoming a woman of influence
