Holiday's aren't for celebrating
They are for faking smiles and laughter
While praying to survive.

I don't know why you did this, why did you treat me this way? Was it all just a game you like to play?

Did y'all sit around together and make up new lies and new alibis? Did you enjoy the tears you made me cry?

When I said you broke me
You misunderstood
I know that was your intention
But you aren't that good.

I woke up gasping for air.
Trying to breath
But water is everywhere.

All this stressing got me living in depression
Overthinking is going to drive me to drinking
Drowning in all these thoughts wondering if you're mine or not.

When did this happen?
When did they change?
All of life's questions
Nothing's the same.
...

What do you do
When there's nothing to do?
No family dinner
No one to call.
...

As I lay here praying for sleep, Thoughts flood my mind, And I begin to weep.

As Realizations come to light Why couldn't I see what was in plain sight?
