Mwenda Valerian, was born in the Eastern province of Kenya in 1985.He is currently persuing a medical degree at the University of Nairobi medical school, Kenyatta National Hospital, Nairobi.He started writing in High school, with his pieces appearing in local magazines and bulletins. He is currently preparing to publish his first two collections, with one hundred poems each. He currently resides in Nairobi, where he does both his writing and his final year in the medical school.
