Tovli Simiryan Biography

Tovli's poetry and short fiction celebrate a mystical voice that speaks from traditional Jewish spirituality and custom.
She has studied and lived in Israel, The United States, Russia, Lithuania and Spain and follows the teachings of R. Moshe Maggal and 'Rebbenu.'
A new collection of poetry written in English will appear the summer of 2006. Tovli is compiling a 'chap book' of poetry from the Arctic, the Northern Plains and her work with native communities in North America entitled 'North of the Soul'. A meditation manual for elders using short fiction is expected to be distrubuted in the United States the winter of 2006/7.
Tovli currently resides in the USA with her family and writes from her home in West Virginia.
