भटकता मुसाफ़िर

'ख़्वाबों के दरिया में तैरता हूँ मैं,
हक़ीक़त के किनारों से डरता हूँ मैं।

रात की चाँदनी में राहें आसान लगती हैं,
सुबह की धूप से मगर उलझता हूँ मैं।

हर ख़्वाहिश समंदर की लहरों सी उठती है,
मगर किनारों की हद से टकराता हूँ मैं।

लोग कहते हैं साहिल पे सुकून मिलता है,
पर साहिल की ख़ामोशी से घबराता हूँ मैं।

मंज़िल की तलाश में रुकता भी नहीं हूँ,
बस अपनी तलाश में ही भटकता हूँ मैं।'
