I live in Kazakhstan, and English is a foreign language to me. Nonetheless, I really enjoy the English poetry as it generously contributes to my language proficiency. Having read so much poetry, I couldn't help starting to create the poems of my own in the language I greatly appreciate. There are plenty of poems in Russian, which is my native language, and a few in Turkish, which I studied on my own. I don't consider myself as a serious poetess, poetry just relishes my everyday life.
Holding you in my hand
Smiling to the skies
I will forever, forever and ever
Live inside your eyes.
...
Misunderstanding
Uncompromising, ugly
Invisible, indifferent, intolerant
Keeps us apart
...
What a strange melancholy
On the earth puts Creator
When the slow death comes to
Still the frolicsome nature
...
Yet the snow is still hugging the grounds
Yet the clouds are heavy and grey
The spring has boldly extended its bounds
And the warm winds have had their say.
