Far removed from those sundering shores

With it cold air blowing
A chill that sank straight to bone
Winter nights are growing

A soft breeze blows through my soul
A child's breath on a dandilion's petal
and those seeds upon my heart settle
Can two oft' broke hearts make a whole?

I'd wish'd you'd gone with me
When I travelled a road by the sea
with farset eyes and firmset heart aflame
I knew you couldn't be to blame

I dreamed we shined into the night
Two stars who floated, shining bright
Giving peace in such a pure of light
...

Why do you love me?
What is it that you see?

I remember your essence
Your face, changed, but the in-between…
…us remains a chord and a long quiescence
Something more, though by eye unseen

And when I saw the Dawn
Aurora's growing song
I, upon a twilight watered lawn
I, In darkness far too long

I defy you from my marrow
Rectitude is my resistance
