somolekha sur Poems

I have a superpower…
To see and not see, to walk past dirt,
To face and not face at the same time,
To keep my soul shut off from guilt and ogles,
...

The kite was flying
A cosmogyral conspiracy
The kite can be anything
The alliances are parasitic,
...

Heathcliff stands like a storm
gathered in the hollow of the moors,
the wind tasting of iron and rain,
a sky torn open by longing.

Yellow Goggles

I have a superpower…
To see and not see, to walk past dirt,
To face and not face at the same time,
To keep my soul shut off from guilt and ogles,
I resort to my yellow goggles!
There is this strange thing about it…
You can see all, others can't see you;
Hold true, your own dear heart-
It will get thrown, trashed, broken;
Tie tight the yellow silken fogles
And don't forget your yellow goggles!
The superpower saves me…
When I doubt myself, when I doubt others,
When I browse through some unlikely feathers,
In shame, in emptiness, in cowardliness
In lying, in acceptance…
In not knowing, in knowing risky toggles
What keeps me going? My yellow goggles!
