Shane Engisch Poems

Even the greatest moments, calmest actions, most peaceful energy, would be unable to tear it off once it sticks
it winds you up for everything and causes one to just pace instead
Eyes get dizzy from observation of another's and can assimilate the same hold
Tension continues to escalate and bottling it up only makes the explosion imminent
...

The working man gets home at night
after working nine to nine
He's trying to make it
...

Thunder in the stomp and lightning in the palms
Heavy and dense, the collision is coming on
Strong surges coursing through as the motions expand the mass
Intimidation in the fierce force of augmentation beyond grasp
...

Love, such a tender companion yet such a formidable foe.
It let's hearts wander, share, and grow.
Some say love plays a game that you cannot win,
but it's only those who don't believe that lose and cave in.
...

Embracing this moment
time is nonexistent
captivated and locked on
could never look away
...

This world is like a moving tapestry
Vivid
The spirit behind creation and artistry
Kaleidoscopic
...

I chained myself to the earth
I planted the seed that grew into many
I chose not the stars
not the heavens
...

Ink bleeds and sets in,
but the paper can be burned by a candle lit fire

To hold treasure in boxes and bones in gold crates
...

I should be writing this down
but I'm afraid that I soon might forget
after already constructing a purpose
the action must be acted
...

Being is more than nothing and nothing is more than not

Something is not defined and everything is what I forgot.
...

This image is a glimpse of what I'd like to taste
the time that I spend not searching seems a waste
the lines shape out an everlasting truth
that we once discovered when innocent and full of youth
...

As fog rolls in
dark contrast on the city falls
blending in lights and afterglows
singing tones that show the flight
...

Oh so many mysteries
You, you want another life just to try,
To keep up with all there is to wake up inside the mind
How much time can you spend?
...

14.

All our time
Is it worth? ...

Being spent on running away
...

Careful casting blessings in tongues not truly understood
It's said there is a serpent that entangles dragon's blood
And spitfire be a voice so loose with foolish finds
Looking towards inviting angels, but be the demons in disguise
...

I'm hearing voices once again
having visions in my head
of reflections never said
thought it could lead to reaching from the shadows
...

The challenge of destiny is self control
from letting go
the fates do not ask for you to accept
they only ask for one to respect
...

Cool the temperature because you're causing immense friction
That I cant follow because of the wild wind whistling
From your speed up and down mood swinging no decision
on the thought at hand where's your plan stan are you listening?
...

We dream inside of black boxes and paper locked words
Realms we believe to envision the messages we have heard
From beyond or around us, no matter the muse that speaks
We try with strings and effects to deliver the magic we need
...

The Story begins with silence and black out, a void. Not darkness. Nor anything that attempts to define nothingness, because it’s nothing. The blackness or void is only a metaphor representing nothing.

Shane Engisch Biography

The Name's Shane and thank you for taking the time to read my poetry and appreciate the art of expression. I was born and raised in Michigan. High school in a small country town and then I went to college in a city near Detroit. All of my life I have aspired to be many things involving with the arts: Actor, musician, entertainer, martial artist, singer, dancer, but my best and foremost skill is writing and poetry is my most natural outlet. I have always been both physically and mentally active growing up, becoming a 'Jack of All Trades', but never truly finding a way to integrate my talents into one thing. This is my current mission and I believe this to be the mission of anyone and everyone who takes the philosophical journey in life. I hope that my poetry not only inspires something within you, but grants a culmination to your mind with every word. Enlightenment is attained through awareness and patience. These two come from self-control. These poems hopefully, and continuously stir this within you. Once again thank you for taking the time to read my work. One Love always.)

The Best Poem Of Shane Engisch

Anxiety's Hold

Even the greatest moments, calmest actions, most peaceful energy, would be unable to tear it off once it sticks
it winds you up for everything and causes one to just pace instead
Eyes get dizzy from observation of another's and can assimilate the same hold
Tension continues to escalate and bottling it up only makes the explosion imminent
No one likes it
Some look to escape through things that actually increase it
An insanity I've dealt with and still resisting
Depravity of vice while the resuscitation of life simultaneously reacts from one thought and act of will
It's hell to deal with
I think the void between two lives would be more difficult than this
At least then you could be fascinated by the new journey
Than to continue the same and battle the duality of choosing a side
Or dealing with human ordeals such as quitting smoking or relationships
Decisions can create a hold on you, but when it's out of nowhere....
The confusion continues the hold
