Soul StillWaters Poems

Why does fear sometimes accompany Death? ?
Is it the desire to keep living! ? ?
The desire to not be dead? ?
Or Just the innate reel of life's a tipping point? ?
...

Slip through my veil and see me
See me for who I am
See me for who I am not
see for in a short while, I am not
...

3.

I faced death and failed in the moment
I saw it pass at dawn, it's tracks were dim and grim
His passing gave power to life - see you later
His back is like a large mirror, reflecting the past.
...

I will have none of this anguish
I can no longer hold on to perished dreams
I have no desire to be any longer
I want none of these longings that leaves me bereft
...

I am water, fluid and flourish
openly or crevice
alive and my master
I am patient, quiet schemes to break barriers
...

My lip, honeyed lip
Littered words
Gushingly fountain
To usher and truddle
...

Ooh my soul
How beautiful you are.
Your first light of breath
You were so comely.

Death's Brim

Why does fear sometimes accompany Death? ?
Is it the desire to keep living! ? ?
The desire to not be dead? ?
Or Just the innate reel of life's a tipping point? ?
Whatever it is, when we are afraid.
It is not that we are not ready,
It is, that we are rather unprepared for its wake.
The waking from the dead! !
The waking after been unalive by a split moment

Do not fear, it comes for us all
not now but now in due course
Do not fret, it's shadow's are brim
Yet, light trails after it.
Do not flee, nowhere to escape it's embrace
It's bloom gloom is like no other
Let it blossom, even if it ends.
It commences another in it's morning

Finality, never beyond grasp but away
A reach out of us, but within all along
It comes with the waking.
No matter our tenacity to go on living.
It is final, it has come, it will come.
