I’m stuck in this unfamiliar place,
With all these unfamiliar people,
Another day in this foreign land,
And I’m sure to go mad.

Sourceless voices-echo in my mind
Heatless fires-eat away at my soul
Invisible landscapes-play out like scenes before my eyes
My body resides here on earth-but my mind wanders elsewhere
...

The way your rarely heard laughter-echoes in my ears
How your obsidian eyes light up-when the battle starts
Your black unruly hair blows in the wind-
Slamming your intoxicating scent into my nose
...

To you I entrusted my heart-my very soul
You were my lifeblood
And the reason my heart continued beating
When all else said it shouldn’t
...

I look into a mirror
And see four different faces looking back at me
All are mine-but none are me
One seeks solitude-longing for the darkness
...

Why is it that they all say they are my friends
Only to wait for me to turn my back, so they can drive a knife into it

Why am I always lonely
...

Remember the days when we were young
Seeing the world through innocent eyes
And gazing up at the stars in undying wonder
When everything was simple and good.
...

I’ll be here for you always
Whenever you need me the most
To chase away your nightmares
And dry the tears from your face.
