Sally Nesmith Biography
My name is Sally Nesmith and I was born January 5th,1990 in Savannah, Georgia. I currently live in Jacksonville, FL attending my 15th school in 7 years. I love to write, but i was going through a lot lately and stopped for a while. Now I'm having trouble expressing my thoughts in ways that others can understand...so if some of my poetry seems a little 'out there' try not to take it so literal & read it once more. My poems are not meant to depress, but to make others think of what some have to experience. These poems are mostly intended to make the reader think in depth. Most of the stories of the poems are not directly written, but implied and make the reader create their own version of the story.
I never noticed you before.
Always quiet and ignored.
Never made yourself known.
Nothing of your soul was shown.

We see each other on the streets
yet, still we look away
we once were called the best of friends
that day is not today

I felt like i had no one
and then you just appeared
to save me from my mind
of which i was in fear
