RICHARD PINKETT Biography

Pure amateur, always loved poems and English Lit. Like to write poetry in situ! ! Influenced by many poets of all styles but a few are Langston Hughes, Robert Graves, Byron, Sylvia Plath, Wilfred Owen, D H Lawrence, and John Milton.
We took early in 2003 and went backpacking the world for ten and a half months through South Africa, Swaziland, Mozambique, Myanamar Thailand, Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, Usa & Mexico.
Been travelling for the last few years 2005 India - 2006 China and Italy - 2007 Sardinia, Corsica, then we went backpacking again for 6 months to Thailand Cambodia Hong Kong New Zealand USA and Canada. This year 2010 Holland France Belgium and the Czech Republic.
