I was born in Hong Kong and educated in Dorset England between 1975 and 1983, Winchester, Hampshire,1983-1985, Teesside Polytechnic 1985-1989, where I obtained a BA (Hons) in Humanities. The University College of Wales, Aberytswyth,1990-1991 where I did a librarianship diploma and Oxford Brookes University 1996-1999 where I acheived a MA in Research in the Humanities. I have been off work for health reasons since 1998 but this has given me much opportunities to write, draw and think.I have had about 6 poems published since 1976, the most recent, Brendan The Voyager has just been accepted for publication by Forward Press, England. The details of all my published poems can be found on my website. My first book, China: A Yellow Peril? was published in July 2009 and is available on amazon.co.uk and the Centre for Fortean Zoology, see below.I have worked as a care worker, a clerk, an indexer, librarian, bookseller and greengrocer and shop assistant.I live on my own in Macclesfield, Cheshire, England.I like writing poems about the beauty of womens hair, legs, etc and the beauty of the female body as a way of trying to empathise with women, bless them and enter into the joy of that.
