Opened My Eyes

For once something good has happened,
My life is finally turning around,
I don't feel so abandoned,
Now that it is you I have found.

You're not like anyone I have met,
And I love the way you are so true,
I'm sure I will never forget,
The day you said the words 'I love you'.

Everyday when I talk to you,
All my worries seem to disappear,
The feelings I begin to feel are so new,
And everything starts to become so clear.

I have fallen so hard for this boy
Who I have never even met,
My heart is fragile not a toy,
This decision I have made I hope i don't regret.

All the things you say to me
Give me butterflies all the time,
I wish it was you I could see,
To be able to feel your heart beat with mine.

It makes me sad to know,
That we are so close but yet so far apart,
I just want to be able to show,
That the feelings I have or you will always be strong in my heart.
