Pushpa Ratna Tuladhar Poems

My shadow lives my life
With strong-mindedness;
Majestic in character and
Sophisticated in fashion
...

I
Far beyond the horizon
When the rooster sang
A song of dawn coming
...

Striking a matchstick gently
On the surface of the matchbook
For warming up the winter
Underneath the wetted wooden log
...

The length of the cigarette
burns
itself into fire,
...

When an eve elapsed by,
A chilly pallid half-moon
Sets below my lip,
And the other half-moon
...

In the night of sore darkness
In the thunderstorms,
A hungry plant lapping water
Till it's too stiff to stand.
...

Landslide came into my life without notice,
I myself am lost, not in moor,
not in cloudland, not in fog, not in haze,
not in markets, but within my

Can the emptiness
Eavesdrops to its own words
By its ears lucidly -
In the darkness wrapped in its room,

In my recent dreams,
I awash myself
In the spirit of the fish
Streaming steadfast

(On the Mother's day)

Born out of my mother's womb,
My hazed eyes of the present day
...

Moving faster than the speeds
Of the light and sound,
My mind ruptures through its seams
And encounters the awful feelings
...

My glaring eyes sneak a look at
The clear spring waters
In the water jug (karuwa) -
The pure appearance of my face
...

Staring at the sky of gloomy night
To an edge scanned by his piercing eyes,
The gray haired human,
Grasping his feet hold of his earth
...

Up the polished ceiling above my bed
In my bedroom resting for a while,
A camouflaged lizard crawls his webbed feet
With dead silence in his spider tongue
...

Before the dawn ripens,
My beloved wakes up.
By her side I'm still roused
In the bemused dream.
...

Feeling the beguiling charms
Of your beauteous beauty
In my beholding eyes
Like the painted kohl in your eyes
...

Discarded in the gutter,
Trailed by the way of my journey,
A pair of my old worn out shoes
Never to walk in the streets again.
...

The beauty of the evening,
The blushing horizon in the west
I adore much the taste
Of sugary sweets blended

Surfing around worldly experiences

The Best Poem Of Pushpa Ratna Tuladhar

My Shadow

My shadow lives my life
With strong-mindedness;
Majestic in character and
Sophisticated in fashion
More spacious in capacity and
Efficient in activity
Than me and my own life
Growing out of my strength
It isolates me from my life
And seduces my properties
To maintain its own identity
As if old enough in humanity
To throw me away in waste container
My shadow, that I throw in the earth
Stretches my body in full
Shearing the clothes from my body
With only the skinny left over
No one can recognize me
As my own identity
I try to run away from my shadow
That chases me like a wild goose
I scan the horizon of my life
Far beyond my limitations
And search my identity
Inside me and my life
Not knowing any relation
If it exists, with my shadow
To name
