I've also fantasised about people reading my poems as everyone who I show them to (which are very close friends of mine) take one look and say " I didn't take English Lit" or in other words, " I don't understand and I don't care" which hurts me to some extend because they didn't take their time to even try to understand, even as a friend. So now I've taken it to online strangers that will hopefully appreciate it more!

My poems are either visions that I have had or experiences that I have felt. I've fantasised about some of the poems that I have written and so I try and put myself in a similar situation or as a safer option I, talk to people about their experiences rather than imagine in order for my words to be relatable and realistic. I would like my poems to reach to people in a way that they can empathise. If I haven't done that then hopefully the next poem will!
