Minnesota native who enjoys comparative religious studies, comparative mythology, ancient history, prophetic visions, all types of poetry, fictional history, mysticism, hagiology, and also an avid reader of the Urantia Book. I read a lot, and two years ago I decided to try poetry writing as a way to express my creative impulse. My poems are mainly of spiritual theme, and I feel that many will be uplifted in heart by their message of hope, so I sought out an appropriate platform for displaying them which led me to this website.
My friend I look at you
My friend I know what you do
Inviting all to come and see
Living free in simplicity
...
Alone I walk alone I stand
known only to God's angelic band
Sometimes a blessing and a curse
Solitude my friend for better or worse
...
From the circle of life we come
The circle of life is one
Without is within within is without
Innumerable forms from the sacred spout
...
Long, long this pain has been
With its relentless instruction
The imperfections are revealed
For its lessons are a soul torn
...
