Hi TAMARA - A very interesting poem. Is it a poem? (in the srtictest sense of the word) or what the French call UNE POESIE MERCI - 'A Thank You Poem'. We all love 'un message de merci' a thank-you letter so for that reason (I know I am on your thank you list) I have put a TEN in the box and improved the average to 8.2! What are you saying to us? THANK YOU...................... For all who commented and inspired (that should be the essence of Poemhunters) For that sailor (some of us have come back to the Island for you!) For who let my tears fall (we catch your tears!) For who felt me (all your friends feel for you - in sadness and joy!) Being able to reach and share - in your thoughts and aching heart beats That is the essence and d raison d'etre of all Poemhunter Friends Because we love your poems (and you) we will always be there for you commenting and voting. Thank you for your THANK YOUS - JOHN

Dear TAMARA, This is a heart-felt rendition of feelings from none other than HANARING with her magical words in prose leaving much to rhymes and imaging. Rajkumar I'm back and able to read rate and comment. Please communicate to others. A thought-provoking emotional poem on the back dropp of an expecting sailor. Good write short and sweet.

I am surprised how visual this poem in its shortness... my interpretation was along the same lines of Dr. subhendu Kar and thus I feel empty when trying to reach for a non-generic comment, but alas. Very nice, Tamara.
