***********************
Marvin's right foot was fast asleep,
Slumbering, snoring, counting up sheep,
Twenty zillion of them that pin-pricked every toe,
Needles that whispered much more than 'hello.'
When he tried to get up, Oh, those needles went zap!
And refused to let any of Marvin's toes tap.
Oh, his foot had no plans to go outside and play.
For Marvin's right foot had had a very long day.
