A nicely written piece. One of life's great mysteries to me is how and what animals think and feel. There are many I've heard say that animals have no feelings, no brain, are not capable of thinking. Ugh! Nothing aggravates me more! Wouldn't it be truly wonderful if our animal friends could speak?
