Zeal For Knowledge Poem by Charles Karia

Zeal For Knowledge

Curiosity is killing many hearts,
Of those who desire knowledge.
That should remain forbidden,
By uncovering the layered skirts,
That conceal the guarded future.

They have had their palms read,
Tarots, incense and crystal balls,
Are forever placed before them.
By power of spirits they break,
The vault that holds the future.

Fortune tellers don't give the price,
That the new knowledge will cost,
The susurrous demons and voices,
That'll cajole from inside your head,
Leading you confused, away from truth.
