Yes indeed, Marilyn, these gentle giants with their furry feet have won the hearts of grownups and children alike over hundreds of years. Sadly we see them so rarely these days. Thanks for this wonderful poem in remembrance of these dignified, hard working creatures. love, Allie ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
