Yr Light Has Shone Through Me
Yr light has shone through me
As the night with its magical strength
Cannot hold its powerful beam
It follows me into the day
Where it competes with the blue skies
But it fails to protect me from the slings
And arrows that bled through the night
While the dusk is upon us, yr light shines
Against the stars and the moon
Keeping watch for what lurks in my heart
