Your Time, Your Name, Your Life. Poem by Doreenda Nikoi Kotei

Your Time, Your Name, Your Life.

Elizabeth Alexandra Mary,
1926-2022,
Queen of of the United Kingdom.
This is what we see when people finish the course of their lives.
Their name, their time and their lives.
You'll also have your name, your time and your life.
How do you want your name to sound in people's ears?
How do you want your time to be remembered?
What change do you want your life to make?
They're all in your hands!

The clock is ticking,
Time is speedily passing by,
Now is the time to inscribe your name in the mind and heart of the world,
For tomorrow may not be yours.
Be intentional, get serious with yourself,
And use the opportunities available to you to call forth your greatness!

Someone made the chair you're sitting on,
The clothes on you were someone's intuition,
The food you ordered for was someone's willingness to prepare it,
The medicine you to take to recover from an illness was someone's gift to the world,
The next car you've always dreamed to have was somebody's passion to make life better and luxurious.
All these and more are what other people have done and left behind for you and I.
What are you also doing today to give to humanity tomorrow?

Do something differently today and put your name on it.
Get thinking, get creative, get to solve problems.
You don't have to do everything, just find your passion and own it.
Try it out and never be moved by failures and disappointments.
Work smart, Pay the price of sacrifice and determination,
Learn to add value to your life, appreciate the time you have today,
And soon the world will celebrate your name, your time and your life tomorrow!
