Your the lover i desire
And no one can quench that burning fire
You flew around my world like a dove
And your the only one that i love
I can't forget you, even when i try
And just thinking about you makes me want to cry

I remember you lying there before my eyes
The day after you committed suicide
I remember the tears that ran down the faces
And the preacher who read from the bible in too fast a hast
I remember the cold wind that blew
And how i wished i could have been there for you

So now that your gone
You would have thought i would have moved on
That someone would have quenched that burning fire
But how can i, when you're the only lover i desire
