Hi Aparna, Great Write! Who knows, One day We might become foes… And I would rather die A Friend of yours Than choose to be a Foe. That is the depth of friendship.. The maxim, Good Friends are hard to find stands... loved it.10++++

And still you ever want me To keep hearing your silence And make some meaning of it all silence and words. desire to talk and desire to be listened to in silence. a conflict of personalities and the special needs all these are very well portrayed in this poem ö. simply love the great ideas. tony

A nice line... And whenever I asked you All I could ever hear, was: Your Silence… A beautiful stanza follows it.... And still you ever want me To keep hearing your silence And make some meaning of it all I told you long before Silence never works for me I am a woman of words… The essence of the poem lies here that explains how deep you want him and love. A very nice try.Thanks. Subhas

Let you be silent And me be too And we can still remain ‘friends’ For if you speak And I speak too Who knows, One day We might become foes… And I would rather die A Friend of yours Than choose to be a Foe. Great lines. Thanks for sharing

Beautiful poem. It seems words are poured out from someones heart. Well I know very well how one will feel. Silence is very difficult to break. As long as communication goes on even though some bitter words are thrown at each other, there is not much problem. But when silence falls it is very very difficult to cross the river. Only the positive hope and continous effort can break the silence, it should be done as early as possible. It should not be delayed. Wonderful flow of words from your pen. Loved reading it.

nice words. poetry is indeed the reflection of day to day life contrary to the popular belief that its is mere work of imagination. i could connect some events in my life to these lines. all the best

One silent and one speaking may be better than both silent or both speaking. But let speaking and silence take turns in a positive way. Being friends is better than turning foes. Feelings nicely expressed. Thank you.

when ego rules the heart, people may fail to feel the pain in the mind! Silence is kept for various reasons, apart from ego and self centered attitude, as both men and women go out and work and both of them have their own share of good and bad experiences, so clearing the doubts is the foremost step that should be taken on the path of long term relationship whether it is in a marriage or friendship between two or more people or countries....
