Your Self Is Everything Poem by akram saqib

Your Self Is Everything

YOUR SELF IS EVERYTHING
No other soul can truly know
The weight of sorrow that you sow.
Each counts their own allotted years
Of pain and silent, falling tears.
'Your burden's weight you bear alone, '
The wise of old have clearly shown.
The head's own weight will surely press
Upon the feet, with no redress.
Though countless pleas and words take flight,
The world's true brilliance shines so bright
For those who see their inner worth,
Their value known upon the earth.
Saqib's tale is simple, plain to see,
The heart that aches, knows misery.
The fire felt within the breast,
That secret pain, is known the best.
