Your Pale, Haunting Beauty Poem by james watkin

Your Pale, Haunting Beauty

Unhanding, what's as soft raised
In farewell's voice heard
Dread not, left thus distantly
Thence dim remembered!

Magnified, rather, as in
This my pained outlook
Of you that's aggravated.
All peace overtakes!
World-faced, as frail as snowflakes;
Of its fury shook.
