Your Life Poem by Dona Jean

Your Life

Dear life;
You're a gift meant to experience,
You were never a life sentence.
You're a rain unto our hungry heart;
A joy to our busy day,
Can be a pain on our bad decisions,
As we cry from loneliness and grief,
Yet, you are a bundle of happiness any moment.

You define the deepest of the deep,
But sometimes, you can be unfair.
We struggle to learn and grow;
We cry, from loss and pain,
It gave us strength and courage,
More understanding and patience.
Wisdom from life experience we had.

You're designed to live every moment-
of love to learn;
of love to forgive;
of love to laugh;
of love to let go;
of love to accept;
of love to hope;
of love to be kind;
of love to gratefulness;
of love to grow;
of love to cry when need;
of love to be angry at times;
of love to be patient;
of love to be at peace;
of love to be strong;
of love to doing;
of love to service;
of love to pray;
of love to dance;
of love to trust;
of love to care;
of love to be honest;
of love to be still;
of love to express what you feel;
So live every second with a beauty of your life.
And paint it with different vibrant colors.
