Your Last Day Poem by Randy McClave

Your Last Day

If this is your last day
Do you say your sorry or do you pray,
Do you shake hands or do you say okay
If this is your last day.

If this is your last hour
Would you smell your favorite flower,
Or upon your face would you scour
If this is your last hour.

If this is your last minute
Would you remember your church's pennant,
Or would you remember a tenant
If this is your last minute.

If this is your last second
Unto who would you beckon,
Forgiveness would you hopefully reckon
If this is your last second.
