Your First Sight Poem by Vaibhav Simha

Your First Sight

When we first met,
My heart did stop thumping to mute its noise
To hear your melodious and lovely voice
Only my body knew, how I hid my excitement.

Moment I had seen you,
A ring formed a bond between pink and blue…
Rainbow did find itself in jealousy
By a sight of your beauty in infinity!

You were in white, the purest of one:
I in a suit, dirt and hate was none.
When I had seen you…
Wedding did happen, in the hearts of me and you!

Let the God not separate
The bonded stars, the brightest and purest!
In the chess of life, let love checkmate
The hate, and let them wander in love's forest.

Let us pray to him-
For all the separated stars to conjoin each other.
Let us fame love and take our vow
To love each other and oneself to another!
