Your Finest Hour Poem by john (called jack) wren

Your Finest Hour

In God's book of all Creation
He lists the name of every nation,
Also marked on each holy page
Is a seal on our life at every stage.

In this ledger on our life
He records all joy and strife,
Every thought and every word
Every deed we have incurred.

From birth till death we cannot hide
Good or bad He's by our side, but
Only those who search for Him, are
Filled with goodness from within.

On your way to three score and ten
Build a bridge towards His pen,
Construct it on a strong foundation
Accept His Son as your salvation.

Live your life in faith and hope
By spurning sins slippery slope,
Then by His loving grace and power
Death, will be your finest hour
