Your face holds you,
Your face holds your features,
Your face holds your senses,
Your face holds you,
The eyes, to see,
The nose, to smell,
The ears, to hear,
The lips, to taste?
Your lips never taste,
Your mouth never eats,
The face is proud,
The face smiles,
If your lips taste,
Or your mouth eats,
The face is angry,
The face frowns,
Your mouth sends a message to the face,
The face sends a message to your brain,
Your brain sends a message to your arm,
Your arm rises again,
But with nothing to taste?
Your arm rises,
Your hand at your mouth,
Your fingers scratch your throat,
Your guilt gone,
As your eyes water,
And your stomach reeches and churns,
You lie back all done,
Your guilt no longer burns,
Your face wearing that smile,
On your face,
On your mouth,
On your lips,
Happy, proud, smile.
