You stretched forth your hand,
The evening had already fallen,
A walk awaited by the castles of sand,
The darkness began to lighten.

A kiss had sealed some death afar,
Your shadow had enveloped my being,
I pointed out at the evening star,
With its burnt out ends encircling a ring.

A face grew out of smoke,
You held it within that crystal frame,
Some breeze gave a light stroke,
I too fancied for the same.

Night had spread out its wings,
You seemed to take no notice of moon,
The sand spread out in concentric rings,
I walked beside in a trance like swoon.

You turned around, your face was....
