Your poem reminds me of a song by Jeremy Fisher about a hapless young fellow smitten by a girl who runs guns. He says, ' Her love is a scar that never heals.' The best words I've 'heard' tonight are '..like a lynx on the prowl past the fox and the owl..'

well... its fantastic write! ! ! knowing that i am also such a rebellious brat... the youngest of the three sisters in our fam.... love this line... she breezes the ground without sound and I know you won't find that she's the marrying kind there's no part of her heart to be found
