You Won't Find Any Like Me Poem by Randy McClave

You won't find many or any like me
To that statement you must agree,
Someone who doesn't cheat or ever lies
And one who once saw you as a great prize.
A man who worried about your wants and needs
For you, your happiness were the greatest deeds,
And a man who won't ever curse or holler
And the man who always placed you above a dollar.
I am a man who doesn't drink or swear or smoke
Or take marijuana or coke,
I am the man who had always proudly put you first
You would never ever starve, or thirst.
I would or have never put anyone above you
Whether it be a sibling, or an ex, which is true,
And whenever there was ever any spoken word
I promise, you were always the first one heard.
Of you or of no one I would not ever be ashamed
For that I could not ever be judged or blamed,
And whenever you or anyone was at my side
I always stood proudly with both honor and pride.
Other men you might also inspire
But, their motivations were for lust, sin and fire,
In the end by others you were used and then tossed away
Where your needs and wants are for pay.
There will never be another man like this writer
For you I was a true believer and a fighter,
Also I am no adulterer, or abuser or crook
In the past for a man, tell me where did you look.
