If she was in a relationship when you started dating
If she started seeing you and there was no waiting,
Don't strut around as if you had won
Don't believe that you are a better man than anyone.
Remember how quickly she wanted to be with you
And how quickly she wanted her and you to be two,
Remember, did she ever talk about her last relationship
And on it how she had quickly released her grip.
With you she is already and prepared to move in
To her she says you are the ultimate win,
Next thing that you know, you are washing her clothes
And you are listening to her music and watching her shows.
You never meet any of her close friends or pals
Whether they are males or gals,
Then when you look you find out that you are forbidden
On her social network all of her friends are all hidden.
Do you ever wander if she had written a goodbye letter
Or maybe she was just looking for something or someone better,
Will she treat you like a servant or a king
Or is she looking for a just good time or maybe a ring.
Was you really a better man than him
Unto you is she still singing you that loving hymn,
Out of the corner of her eye do you ever see an occasional wink
Does that ever make you want to just stop and think.
I truly hope that you had won her forever
And I hope that your ties with her no-one will ever sever,
But, remember to win her did she had to lie and cheat
If so, those actions she will then most undoubtedly repeat.
