You Were My Adversary Poem by Satish Verma

You Were My Adversary

The other side of your
face also makes me insane, when
you walk without legs O moon!

My love was pure, never
paused. Virus leaves the footprints.
Fever comes and fever goes.

Attention! At the door
stands a watchman. I will pay all my
debts, and turn back to swim.
