You Smell Murder Poem by Satish Verma

You Smell Murder

I was tired of
repeating mantras for
reincarnation.

The hidden mounts
want to revolt against sun
for the crying moon.

Bargaining has
begun between flesh and bones.
You pay to draw blood.
