You Say You Still Love Me Poem by Charles Wamuti

You Say You Still Love Me

You say you still love me,
But to me you will not come to see,
We swore it would be ride or die,
I did not know it would be a goodbye.

Every night i look at the stars,
The brightest i named after you with no fuss,
But now the clouds are starting to roll in,
What a beautiful view it has been.

I continue waiting for you,
Though I'm feeling stuck it is like i sat on glue,
My heart is starting to pain,
I hope all this was not in vain.

The butterflies tell me to wait,
But the moths tell me I'll faint,
It's all now tiring and no longer funny,
Tell me will you always be my Bunny?
