Hello Naidz - Another lovely nostalgic trip down Memory Lane. A nicely drafted poem - seven unrhymed quatrains but with good flow and reciteability. V 1 'Sitting here alone'. This sets the scene for what follows. V 2 'A gift of love' priceless - and when the physical object of our love has parted life changes for ever. V 3 'Words of love' - spoken and unspoken. V 4 Wanting - calling - weeping - taking 'Your love mislaid in the night' - very emotional. V 5 & 6 You know and I know - Angel - that even given the 'Wings of an Eagle' or the ' Body of a Whale' or the 'Power of the Wind' the one we seek has passed from this Physical Dimension into the Spiritual Dimension. However we live in hope of reaching the loved one to once again 'Reach - hold - kiss and whisper I miss you'. Reality prevails and you meditate on: the Lonely nights - empty days - and the paradox of - smiles with tears - joy without bliss and missing the kiss. Thanks for sharing Lady G - remember we all love you 'And if you ever need a Friend - I'm sailing close behind - like a 'Bridge over Troubled Waters' - I will ease your mind'. If I can only move and fly like an eagle Or be in a wind to kiss your lips............. love never oscillates as when blessed heart of course bestirs green for rays as gleams of love sates the soul yet at times passion riffles by the quest for longing, most wonderful write being emotive heaved in lone silence,10++, thanks for sharing
