You're…. Poem by David Wood

You're….

My best friend all these years,
Sometimes a real pain though,
Very noisy eating your food.

Always hungry, never satisfied,
A bit overweight as a consequence,
Favourite place is the kitchen.

Fun to be with when we're out,
A very good runner,
Always out in front.

Worth every penny I spend on you,
Intelligent, thoughtful and kind,
A joy to be with.

My best friend forever.
