It is just a quiet, close knit neighborhood,
But as I drove through that way,
I thought - you never know about the youngsters
Who live and play there day by day.
From just a simple, obscure street,
Where parents plan daily and wait,
Come future leaders of the nation,
And stand among the great.
In just such a typical neighborhood
Throughout our vast land today,
In sneakers and in blue - jean fashion,
Our future leaders play.
