You Love Me Poem by val legend

You Love Me

Rating: 5.0

If you told me
The sea is dry
And fishes fly
Birds have scales
And snails have wings

If you told me
Mountains float
And the trees are rooted in the sky
Or the snow burns
And fire freezes
The desert is flooded
The sun is cold

I would rather believe that
Than when you tell me
'You love me'

This piece definitely shows an air of mistrust about the person whom the author is writing about.
