You Have Forsaken Me. Poem by Sandra Kavanagh Josefsson

You Have Forsaken Me.

You have forsaken me.
I do not feel your presence anymore.
The day has become night.
The sun has become the moon.
Heaven is lost, everything is doom and gloom.

The flowers do not bring any beauty.
The sky feels like a dark cloak
hovering above.
I do not feel your presence.
Where is your love?

You have forsaken me.
I do not hear your voice.
When all is said and done
you had a choice.
