Was it for her father I know not but the poet again burns in the pyre of self ignominy and the depiction was touching. Great write....
Hi Tiffany - This poem is a paradox of love and hate. The Little Girl who is the subject of this poem (autobiographical?) hs said something hurtful (V 2) ans omeone is hting her for it (V 1 & 3) . It is an impasse whih leads to crying and sleepless nights (V 4) . However the Lttle Girl wants foregiveness and wantss to move on (V 5) . In V 6 she is sorry and wants to fix it 'She doesn't hate you - she needs you by her side'. A well structured poem but with an inconclusive ending -maybe it need another verse ? . Love you in Poetry - JOHN. .
