You gave me autumn in an envelope.
The rich light burned within my bones like gold.

Amazing write...vivid imageries...give a surprising feel on read...the poem makes the reader sad on account of the depth inside it...and joyous on account of the sweetness of the scenes it brings before eyes...10

I have a soft spot in my heart for fall. I must commend you on this captured moment of words. Utterly laden with the essence of fall. Beautiful. Thank you for having this up.

I too have felt the mood of old November roofs........here in the Wicklow Mountains in Ireland. Autumn is the time that must be written about....so full of life... and death. It is a humbling time that stops us thinking we are invincible... yet still gives us hope. See 'Autumnal' Thank You

First of all, the title of your poem enticed me toward its conceptual theme and the fascination within your thoughts give it an impetus that is hard to go by without noticing..........the softer side of a gentle spirit wafts through to spread the warmth of a special feel of nobility of vision embarks on wings of autumn that you fly on. Bewitching thoughts, thanks - arya

Absolutely stunning! You have a great understanding of human tolerance and way of expressing yourself as a true poet. This is touching and warm, and yet, you seem to find your way to any heart through words.

Stunning imagery. I love the light burning in the bones like gold. It gives such a depth to the feeling. And the gold settles nicely into Autumn, I feel. HG: -) xx

Of all the autumn-themed pieces I have read, this is far and away the most thought-provokingly divine to read. Metaphor-laden. Not sure whether the 'fall' at the end is an intentional double-meaning but it's the icing on this deeply rich cake! t x
