I'm not literally your conscience
But I can speak out against how you terminate the spirit
I can see dripping from your fangs
The draining of life from the no longer free individual
I have lived several lives
You snuffed out each one in sequential order
You enjoy seizing control and forcing those under your dominion to live a certain way
This is murder without bullets or bombs
Crush him in the centrifugal force of sudden changed direction
Without the legalized murder of war, you'll find business suits you instead
The soon to be laid-off workers awaiting the news
The company you bought in order to indulge your fun
The end of their lifestyle, goodbye to a three bedroom home and a college education for the next generation
For your flexible blood lust
You must make do with the extermination of personality
The figurative murder doled out by authority
Like the military does with new recruits but without replacing it with anything
