You Don't Mean Anything To Me Poem by James Jennings

You Don't Mean Anything To Me

I thought you were the whole world
I meant it when I said I love you
Now I'm here glad its over
You were something special but then you changed

We ended it so quickly
You've got a way with words
I'm ready to forget about you
You don't mean anything to me

You told me you couldn't live without me
We talked about being together forever
Marriage and having kids
I guess our love wasn't real

We ended it so quickly
You've got a way with words
I'm ready to forget about you
You don't mean anything to me

I never meant to fall in love with you
Every time I saw your body I fell for you
You used sex to reel me in and then you threw me back
I hope one day you regret the things you said
I do miss our late night conversations
Sex and lifelong decisions
But now you don't mean anything to me

Don't worry about the way I feel
You already said that we weren't friends
I'm sorry to say that I've got another woman on my mind
You never wanted me around and now that's got me down
I found out that you had somebody on the side
There's no chance for us at all
